What Are Ancestry.com Shipping Methods?

We offer standard shipping with free tracking. Multiple DNA kits that are purchased together can be shipped back together in the shipping bag provided at no additional cost or shipped back separately at additional expense. Shipping costs $29.99 for the first kit and $10 for each additional kit in the same order. This amount covers both shipping to the recipient and return shipping; no additional postage is necessary.

What Are Ancestry.com Return Policies?

If you want to cancel the package within the first 30 days of placing your order, and before you return a DNA sample to AncestryDNA, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $25. If you cancel the package within the first 30 days of placing your order but after you have returned a DNA sample, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $50.

What Are Ancestry.com Shipping Details?

DNA kits should be delivered within 14 business days of the date of order. They're sent via Australia Post. If a kit isn't received within 25 business days, please contact us for a replacement. Samples should be returned in the small bag included in the DNA kit. The return mailer can be dropped directly into the mail, even in extreme temperatures. The postage and address will be on the box; return shipping is covered in the original shipping cost, so no additional postage is necessary. In Australia, multiple tests that are purchased together can be placed together in the large bag provided for return shipping.
